El84 question

Hi all!
I damaged my tube store preferred series EL84’s, and bought some replacement tubes and accidentally bought sylvania Mesa boogie tubes (vintage). Will these sound that much different than my tube store tubes? I have a RH84 with a NEC 12Aat7 tube, and I’ve never noticed a difference swapping the EL84’s, but when I switch the 12AT7 tubes, I notice a huge difference. I’m convinced the Mesa EL84’s won’t impact the sound, but what do you guys say?

Gotta listen for yourself. Besides, you probably won't remember the sound of your old one's.

How did you damage the old one's?

It may or may not sound different, but vintage Sylvania are not exactly junk.

Sylvania black plate 7189's sound excellent in Scott amps.
