Elac PPA-2 phono pre hum

Does anyone have any idea how much 60hz hum a typical PPA-2 will emit?

I just bought one and I’m concerned about the level of noise.

Try looking up on Google, as I just did. Four reviews on the Crutchfield site seem to indicate it is very silent, so perhaps you have
a defective unit?

Have you tried moving the ground connection? There are two ground posts on the PPA-2. One is a signal ground and the other a chassis ground.

I solved it. Exercising the pots and dipswitches.
