Elac running slow.

Replaced a bad motor I'm my idler, but am running slow now. About 32.2 rpm. My question is. The idler wheel is perfect, I actually have 2. Is there a small bearing in the center of that idler wheel that needs to be spinning, or is that simple support to sit on the shaft?

There is a huge thread here on the Elacs with many, many AK’ers contributing. Have you seen it? It may have your answer already or be a more-visible place to ask.

I have read that entire thread. This question is a general about if idler wheels have an independant bearing, but i think i answered my question. No. Seems to have come around with leaving the motor running and general lube, although some rumble is there. A hair slow still, but much improved. Thank you!
