Electro-voice speaker identification

Picked these up at gw for $6. I saw the ev logo and nice solid wood construction and couldn’t turn them down. They use a single 6.5” driver. But the part numbers are no help. They’d probably sound pretty good with a tweeter.

I don't know the speaker but EV stopped using that logo in the late 60's and switched to the square in
1970

Don't assume they would actually sound better with a separate tweeter. There is a coherence to single driver loudspeakers that can be more believable and more attractive than the more extended highs you would get with a tweeter. The crossover and the physical separation between drivers muddy the sound in ways that we don't always notice until we hear a good full range driver.
And extending the high end without extending the low end can make a speaker sound bright.
