So I was reading through the Navy Electronics course material that GChief had linked to. Good stuff. The mention of a Van De Graaff generator took me to YouTube where I saw a video about how a capacitor works. And then I found ElectroBOOM. Love it. Just watched a video with a couple exploding capacitors. My kind of learning. Let the electronics journey continue...

Just watched a video where he burned the **** out of his fingers while making a shunt resistor. Right now I'm not sure why I need a shunt resistor but the video is entertaining...
