Hooked on Horn's and Tubes. Go big or go home
I went to the Thursday early showing to see the latest big opening of ELVIS.
It was a long movie, but very enjoyable. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the
soundtrack. It should have been louder, not much in the way of any thought of creating
a sellable CD, or Hi end effort that I could tell.
The actor playing Elvis did a great job! Not easy to sing Elvis. Ask me how I know.
there was some interesting interviews on a few of the TV shows.
I thought Tom Hanks played the part of the villain
Colonel Parker,. Elvis called him Admiral, quite well, as expected.
More than a few facts I didn't know came out about Elvis. With BB King and others.
I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone, but I liked the last 5 minutes
the best, in that it had Rare footage of the Real Elvis in what I think might have been his Last.
performance ever. Of course we all know how it ended. I thought it could have been better.
Go see it!!! 3 stars,
