Hi there, I just got my first OB speakers, Emerald Physics EP 4.7.
Boy, that's real 'think different' ... or rather - out of the box
Mine did come with DSP 2.4 module, programmed for single-amp bass extension - I don't plan to use it with my vinyl/tube setup.
I do want to accomplish similar effect with passive crossover modification though - essentially to add Hi/Mid/Low knobs to midwoofer and tweeter, similar to those on KEF Cantata. In my room, I should use like -2db on mids and -4 db on treble, according to my REW measurements.
It should be just a matter of adding alternative resistors to the crossover. Anyone tried that yet? What R values you ended up with?
Also, this guy mentioned 'revised' 4.7 crossover - does anyone know what the revision is and how to check if I have the revised version or not :
