Empire 2000E/III cart - 78 rpm stylus?

Hello, forum members:

My newly serviced Dual 1219 just came back, plays beautifully with a new stylus on an Empire 2000E/III cartridge.

The question I have though - is there a 78 rpm stylus available for this cart? Current stylus explicitly states "16, 33, 45 rpm only". I have searched the net, and can't seem to find any reference to this cart being used for 78 rpm playback, which seems kinda strange to me...

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Most 78s are mono correct? I’d just invest in a mono cart, I don’t think you will find a stylus that will work with 78e for the empire

I don't think they made one , you might have to get a conical from the 2000 series.

There is no 78 RPM stylus available for the Empire 2000 series cartridges.

Not that I am aware of. Empire wasn't a 78 RPM oriented cartridge supplier. They never offered 2000 series 78 RPM styli.

Ok, thank you everybody - I'll just get an AT95 cart with a 78 stylus in this case.
