Empire 598 broken motor mount

Uggg! I just bought this Empire 598 from Goodwill on line, and it arrived with a completely broken motor mount. The metal they used is of very poor quality, and I am sure the uninformed shippers did not secure the motor with the travel screw. In any event, it is completely broken off and I have no idea how I can fix this! I need suggestions! 3D printing? Cut a piece of wood, drill holes and attach to the metal? I don't think JB Weld will work because the points at which this piece broke are extremely small. Not enough metal to bond with. Please see the photos.

I would make a new plate out of 1/8" aluminum (6061) in the shape of the old bracket, cut out the old bushing holes just enough to clear the bushings, bolt the new bracket on top, then finally space the bushings up 1/8" to make up for the height difference. Shame you're in LA, this looks like a fun project. Oh, and you'll want to get new bushings, no matter how you fix it.

The Empire Troubador used a lot of pot metal in the construction, Sadly. I suspect this got damaged in shipping.

That's sad. Make a new piece and trim back the old and JB Weld the new pice in place. Put a 1/4 " right angle around the periphery to strengthen the new piece

I've seen this before. Sometimes the mount is just bent down some.
The inner platter bounces on the edge of the mount if the suspension isn't secured in transit.

A pain since it would require disassembly, but a good welder might be able to help.
I do wonder though if heat would distort the rest of the deck.
