Empire 598 III Missing Tonearm Assembly Screws - What Are They?

I recently purchased an Empire 598 III turntable off you-know-where that I probably should have passed on. Required cosmetic and mechanical repairs are both more extensive than anticipated. Among the unwelcome surprises is that the tonearm is not affixed to its base because the screws are missing. My fear is that this points to other troubles in my future but for now I have to put first things first: screw the base to the arm. All of the screws are missing so my greatest fear is that the internal wiring becomes disconnected leading to an unwished for rewiring job. If a reader can tell me what the specification are of the missing screws, I would very much appreciate it!

Thank you, cannext. You have reaffirmed my decision to undergo cataract surgery in October!

Unfortunately the screw is trapped between the tonearm and the lift mechanism so I can neither remove it nor tighten it without removing the lift. Otherwise my problem would be solved. I received a tip on another board that this is likely to be a #2 machine screw. I'll take a quick trip to Ace and hopefully get some screws to anchor everything before proceeding further with disassembly.

Thank you again.
