Empire 9900E/3 Cartridge Questions

Unknown needle I found on the cartridge, any ideas as to what it is?. The cart is a Empire 9900E/3, anyone know if it is a decent cart? Thanks.
One more question, Sl-D3 or Gemini PT-2000?

No expert myself but it looks like a generic stylus on a "blob" style body to me.
