Empire cartridge question

Hi, I have a question concerning a specific Empire cartridge I have inherited on an older Pioneer TT:

Empire 2001 AE 111

Strangely, there isn't much out there on this particular cartridge. So, my question is...is it a standard entry level cartridge and if so, from what year? Also, what should the tracking force be with this particular cartridge (assuming the anti-skate is set approx the same as the tf)?

Thanks in advance.

Beginning in 1980, I worked for a large-ish audio chain in Western Canada for a couple of years that carried Empire cartridges. I had not come across that specific model but Empire labeled cartridges with many, many numbers. Some may have been for private branding or region specific reasons. In the 1970's, Empire stenciled the name Unitron on some of their cartridges which at that time were sold by a competing audio chain in my area.

I myself acquired a 2000E/I body only back then and only recently, for the first time in 37 years, fitted it with a stylus. I chose that specified for an E/III but one for an E/I or an E/II would have fit. This Empire chart is out there, so chances are that yours will be similar to if not exactly the same as one of the 2000/E's listed.
