This has been out there a few weeks. I really (really) do not need another turntable, and this one feels like an okay good deal, but not a screaming steal. These decks also seem to rate well, but not exceptionally in the lists of great vintage decks to own. But man, it looks cool.

For reference, I already have a PL-530, AR-XB, Dual 1019, among others.

It looks nice, but I heard that corrosion on any of the gold/champagne parts was impossible to get out because it was anodized onto the metal.
 
It's a 598, not a 398. That arm was unique to the three generations of the 598. No idea which one it is without at least getting a look at the strobe indicator.
 
I used to lust over these tables but there are too many reports that indicate the motors are noisy even after refurb actions
 
Apologies, Sam - you are correct - It's a 598. Seems like an interesting table but maybe not worth the hype. Thanks guys -
