Entry Level Cartridge for Sony PS-X5?

[MacWorks]

Looking for a cartridge recommendation for a replacement on a Sony PS-X5.

Would something like this be a good bet? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JXD79Q1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
Audio-Technica AT-VM95E Dual Moving Magnet Turntable Cartridge Green

That is not a bad choice, really nice budget cartridge. I love mine

Thank you, that is very helpful.

There are less costly options...

AT VM95E is an excellent buy. Mounting is a breeze with the threaded screw holes.

If it works with the arm/turntable, that's a great cart.

Sony XL15s come up on ebay for cheap and they take aftermarket styli well.

I have a PS-x5 that I used in my living room and ran a Nagaoka MP-200 on it, so don't be afraid to put a good cartridge on that table because it's well built and sounds better than one would expect.

I have a Sony PS-X70, slightly later and a little further up the food chain but similar to your turntable. My Sony really likes Audio-Technica carts, the VM95E would be a nice choice.
