As always, this just goes to show the power of good presentation and good pictures on eBay.
 
The cartridge is a sought after unit also. Don't know if the bidders are influenced by that or not, but the AT15/20 is worth some money.
 
The 570 seems to be in its current fifteen minutes of fame. A few weeks back one went for over $700 on the bay.
 
I think people see the buffed and polished cover and go crazy. If it doesn't have any cracks or major scratches thats good enough for me. Light scratches can always be buffed out.

Paying that much for any tt I would hope the seller has shipped them before or the buyer has a 50/50 chance of getting a box that, "Sounds like a pinball machine". Quoted from the UPS man after delivering a tt I bought.
