A local seller is offering the Epi c120 speakers and also the epicure M100 speakers..
I have very little knowledge of these speakers..I listen to most types of music...blues rock soul doo wop rnb old time country and occasionally heavier stuff that requires a bit more bass...
If I purchased either speaker set, they would be my first introduction into vintage speakers..What I have read about epi/epicure is mostly positive..
I emailed the seller and told him of my musical tastes and that I wanted something that would last for a while and sound good..He suggested the Epi C120 speakers and told me they had been recently refoamed but i wasnt able to find ANY info on them..Apparently they have a 12 inch woofer, thats about all I know.
The epicure m100s are 25 dollars more pricey and havent been refoamed and have seen better days cosmetically ( stains on grill cloths)
Prices are $75 for the C120s and $100 for the M100
At this point i'm already leaning toward the C120s but would just like to learb more about them and how they sound...
Thanks folks, wasnt trying to be longwinded...hahahaha
