Super Member
Anybody know what model speakers Epicure used this logo/ emblem on? What does it mean and any history of this logo? Was it used for just EPI branded speakers or both EPI and EPICURE?

I have seen it embossed into the foam grills on there micro towers, but have not seen a brass badge or emblem on any of there speakers before.

no epicure speaker will have epi logos stock, maybe someone would add them later. epi models are the only ones that would have epi logos. epicure stuff would have the epicure logos.

So what is the main company? EPI or Epicure? Its weird that they have two names. Human doesn't explain the reason of the two names.

Human does say Epicure Products Inc. And they also say Excellence/ Performance /Innovation . Kinda confusing.

goto them section that shows all the models and youll see that epi was the earlier ones then the company changed to epicure and had models.

I sold EPI's in 1975 and they all used the older circular logo on the brass plate. Chances are good that if you have older EPI's they don't have logos on them at all. One likely reason for the rarity of the original EPI logos is that they were stuck on the grill fabric using hot melt glue. It didn't take much for them to pop off and get lost.

I do seem to recall that they referred to the company as Epicure in the literature, but it was not used on the speakers at that time.
