Equasound Speaker Label

I purchased a pair of Equasounds in 1971. They served me well through college and beyond. For some strange reason, I decided to sell them in 1995. A few years later, I realized that was a poor decision.

I started looking for another pair about 4 years ago. Almost impossible to find but late last year, I found a pair in Chicago and purchased them. It cost me more to ship them to California than the purchase price.

Anyway, they sound great but they need new speaker grills and are missing the Equasound label on each speaker. I am going to have the panels recovered and would like to also add the labels.

I am hoping someone has a speaker that still has a label and can take a close up picture of the label and send me the picture along with the dimensions of the label. I will then see if I can get some labels 3D printed.

Hello I bought my Equasound speakers in 1975. 2 tall sreeens 20"x50" 8 midrange and 2 tweeters back to back and 2 12" base
The Equasound tags are made from cast aluminum.
2.090" length
.780 height
.100 thick
Depth of lettering is .045"
I have somehow lost 1 of the 4 original tags.
I haven't used these in the last 30 years. I have to refoam the base speakers then they'll be ready to go. I remember they sure did sound good .

Hello I bought my Equasound speakers in 1975. 2 tall screens 20"x50" 8 midrange 2 tweeters back to back and 2 12" base speakers. I haven't used them in 30 years. I'm now in the process of reforming the 12" base speakers. I'm going to try them out again. I remember how good they sounded.
The Equasound tags were cast aluminum.
2.090" length
.780" height
.100" thick.
The lettering is .045 deep.

Welcome to AudioKarma. My next door neighbor had a set just as you describe. They sure sounded good in his listening room.
