Equipment Repair/Recapping

Taking a shot in the dark here. I am looking for a reputable, thorough electronics repair/recapping person or business in Wisconsin. I'd like someone who really knows what they are doing and isn't just a hobbyist or a TV repair guy. I am between Madison and Milwaukee and would travel a couple hours if the business was worth it.

Appreciate the help.

Edit: Forgot to add, preferably a business not booked until 2024, won't need 6 months for a recapping, and will actually respond to emails. Thanks.

I think your preferences might not leave many possibilities, but you might try calling Madisound to see if they can recommend someone. Madisound has been around a while and maintained an excellent rep, so I don't think they'd steer you wrong.

Or, though I don't know anything about this outfit other than their cool name, and the opportunity to get a bite at Monty's Blue Plate Diner while you're in the neighborhood, you might look at https://www.hifi-haus.com/

Thanks for responding. I am fearing more and more, you are correct about my preferences. I checked the HiFi Haus and their site says "Due to a backlog of service, we are not accepting new service items until further notice." There is a another place in Brodhead and their site says they are backed up 18 months on repair. I will check out Madisound.
