I just picked up an Esoteric Z500 single disc CD player for use in my vintage system. I was looking for a good upgrade from one of my other players and I know that Esoteric is a high line Teac but not much more. Any opinons? Thanks.

The specs look pretty impressive, signal to noise ratio of better than 110 db, a dynamic range of 100 db, stereo separation of 100 db, and a THD of .002. Fixed and varible output which is controlled by the remote, digital output. How does it sound?
