Esoteric "Troubador" Replacement Motor/Speed Controller

Hi All- Have any of you seen this? I stumbled across this while looking at the Esoteric site. Very interesting idea for breathing new life and flexibility into the belt driven Rek-o-kuts (and potentially other brands).

Hopefully it is ok to post this link here (just for reference/more detail of what I'm referring to).

I know what you are saying, I was wondering the same myself. I would think it could be adapted to fit most applications, some more challenging than others...
