bimasta: Thank you for the alert on sunlight with Heils. The speakers only sat there for a few seconds for the rear shot. I was actually trying to show that I had grafted AMT Monitor crossovers into these cabinets. In the final placement picture, they are really on either side of the window with a drape behind each one. So, they will not get any direct sunlight.
Don't know what the directions say in an ESS diaphragm packet, but they should include limiting direct sunlight exposure.
However, I'm sure lots of other driver types would not be happy with direct sunlight exposure over an extended period of time. Afterall, I've seen sunlight fade textiles on chairs and wood finishes on furniture.
