ESS Monitor woofer in 1D?

Does anyone know if the 12 ESS monitor woofer would work with the AMT-1D'S? Just picked up a set of the D's and do not have original woofers. Have a line on some Monitor 12 inch and thought they may work. I also have this 12-in woofer from a 1D bookshelf speaker but has paper cone, any ESS experts have any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure the cast frame ESS woofers are more or less identical in all their speakers. I have a pair of ESS AMT-1A Bookshelf speakers that used the same 12" woofer as the 1A tower. I needed replacements when I bought the speakers because the previous owner threw the originals in the trash when the foam surrounds rotted. I bought the ones for the 1A tower speakers and they worked perfectly.
 
I checked the ESS website and they have a pair of 12" on sale for $199 but no specs or info on them. Are these the same as the 689-2012 also on their site for $199 each? I would call them but no contact number listed either. These look like they may be good replacements

Evaluators are an odd speaker. Not made particularly well, but with the right power, they are wonderful.
I bought these from Simply Speakers. They work exceptionally well for me and are quite a bit less than what ESS is offering.

Those woofers are different than the ones used in the 1A, 1B, 1D, etc line. While they cost a little less, I wouldn't recommend them for the OP's speakers.

Yes they are the same woofer. If you look at the listing underneath "Add to Cart" it says to grab yourself a pair of 12" woofers. Click on the words "12" woofers" and it takes you to the listing for individual 689-2012 woofers.
