EV Aristocrat pair

Several months ago, I was given a pair of EV Aristocrat speakers with good condition cabinets. Components are the 12TRX woofers (not the 12TRX-B) and coaxially mounted T35 tweeters with original X36 crossovers. One tweeter is open and not working.
Because they were a gift, I'd like to have a sense of how appreciative I should feel. There seems to be very little info online.
Anyone have a range of value?

I have a pair loaded with 12trxbs and like them a lot (and mine are not even shoved into corners). That being said value on these isn’t that great probably because the cabinets just look a little too vintage. My estimate is in the $250-300 range. Replacement diaphragms are available for your T35 or you could find a complete unit on eBay or similar (which is what I would do). Then sit back and enjoy. It appears you live in a fairly upscale area so I may be a little light on my valuation.

Keeping them may not be the safest option.
Many speakers already and WAF is low for these.

You should feel very appreciative. EV Aristocrats are great speakers with the right amp. Yours have a great set of components and should sing with a nice, low power SE tube amp.

My living room system right now is a pair of EV Aristocrats with an Elikit SE amp running RCA Black plate 676GCs. It a really nice setup, espceically with jazz/vocals/acoustic music.

I think I paid $200 for the pair about 5 years ago. I also have a single that I am figuring out what to do with.

The speakers do sohnd good, but as mentioned above, I don't think I can keep them. Thus, the range of value question.
Thanks for the feedback on how yours sound.

@mrbruce Put them on ebay with a BIN of 750.00obo with the info that one tweeter is DOA.. Leave it up to buyer to replace tweeter or redo diaphragms on both tweets....The cabinets are beautiful and match... These speakers were usually sold during mono era and rarely see a matched pair...GLWS

There has been a pair for sale locally with an asking price of $350 on CL and $300 on FBM. They have been listed for a couple months with no price adjustment. They apparently have original EV drivers but seller did not provide information on type(s).

I picked up a mismatched pair a few months ago with working drivers. The bad news is that the drivers in one of the speakers are Radio Shack. The other has an EV T35B and 12" Sonotone CA-12 woofer. Unfortunately, replacement drivers aren't cheap!

There's a pair in the Bay Area for $500. SP12 & T35 & X36. The seller is located in the wealthiest city in America. Still I'm tempted.
