Hi All,
I've been looking for some relatively inexpensive, vintage, high efficiency horn speakers to both match with my single ended 6BQ5 amp and to also serve as an intro to horn loaded speakers. Higher end models by Klipsch, Altec and JBL are out of my price range, but I've spotted a pair of Electro-voice EV Four and Frazier Capsule speakers nearby.
Anyone out there have an direct experience comparing these models? Any opinions about either one, taking into consideration my intended goal? From what I've been able to dig up online, folks seem to have mixed opinions about both makes and models, so I'm really on the fence.
