EV Sentry 100a: best source for surrounds?

Caps are ordered. I'll do one speaker first and see how it sounds.

Its also tempting to order a used tweeter to experiment with.
 
I have a bunch of them that I got when I was considering making an Interface:A clone. I feel like audio parts are the opposite of socks in the dryer.

The tweeter foam is NLA. I checked out that Aussie site and it does not appear to be the correct dimensions. The hole over the tweeter has to be almost the exact size of a dime and be closed cell polyurethane. For the same price of $55/ea you can almost get 2 used drivers.

Also, for $80 you can get a die made to the spec, which I'm thinking of doing.

They are really great tweeters though, musical but tough, and able to take crazy power.

These are also very not consumer loudspeakers either. These for many years, and their older progeny, were very common in many AM and FM control rooms. Hearing these (early models) for me were some of my very first taste, of good, accurate, uncolored sound when I was little. The old Sentry was driven by a Gates monitor amplifier, connected to the Gatesway, later to the Yard 80 console.
 
After listening for a while and comparing i think the speaker is just a little brighter but not much change and still sounds great. I'll do the other one today and go from there.

I have found these two that have what is apparently called a fillited edge. The Springfield says its fillited. The Midwest surrounds look fillited.

Others I have found do have the angled edge just a more pronounced roll. Any suggestions, anyone had issues with the 2 companies I posted?

That's what I'm finding. Two different "rolls". One goes deeper into the cone. Springfield Speaker surrounds for the 100a seem to be almost flat with the beginning of the cone. Not sure what to do. I hate to start and have the wrong product.
