Evaluate aesthetics of new speaker design for graduation project

Hi!

Currently, I am working on my graduation project at the Technical University in Delft, the Netherlands, to obtain my Master's degree in Integrated Product Design. I made a design for an active hi-fi speaker and would like to evaluate its aesthetics to see if some iterations are needed. At the beginning of my project, I sent out another questionnaire only about speakers currently on the market. The first questionnaire gave me an idea of which direction I wanted to go regarding the looks of my design.

Now I have come to a design and I would like to use the answers to this second questionnaire to evaluate if the intended looks are communicated right. The questionnaire contains three different sections. First, I would like to know a bit about you and your interest in hi-fi audio. Next, I will show some examples from my first questionnaire and ask about how you would rate different aesthetical aspects of these speakers. These answers will
be used as a reference for the answers given in the last and most fun section: Rating my speaker design.
Participating is anonymous, so please be honest with your answers.

Filling in the questionnaire helps me a lot and will take approximately 5 minutes, thanks in advance!

"When you listen to music at home, what is the setup of the audio equipment you listen to most?"

i think most of us, by now are using a combination of passive and powered, since most subs are powered
except for tv speakers i use most of the mentioned equipment daily

Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions, really appreciated! The additional comments are also really helpful.

@orsen Good point, I will add this setup as one of the standard possible answers.

That was fun. Those B&O's are close to the most unattractive speakers I've ever seen. I saw them when they were introduced. My opinion of their looks hasn't changed.

Done. I will suggest you could add a couple slides on "vintage" speaker design, since a lot of us folk are geared more towards that equipment.

Here you go Romeo. The Design Acoustics D-12. They're all the way from 1973.:D

I've always rather liked their look.:)

I will close the questionnaire now in order to process the results. Thanks for the many replies in such a short time!

@Romeo Wolf I agree that a vintage speaker could have been added but as the other speakers that were now included were only used to see if participants of this questionnaire share the same opinion as the participants of the questionnaire I sent out some months ago, it would not make sense to add a vintage speaker at this point.. However, I totally agree that it would have been interesting to see how the aesthetics of some cool vintage speakers would have been rated in comparison to the modern designs.

@JoeESP9 Wow, did not know these nice looking ones yet, interesting design! They remind me a bit of the Grundig Space Age speakers from the 60s.
