In days of old,
Or so it's told,
Crusading knights on large white steeds,
When not engaged in noble deeds,
Would seek the blessed holy grail.
Today it's different, you see,
The modern world is not a fable;
In the case of li'l ole me,
The grail is just a rare turntable!
I fear I shall not ever rest,
But I shall look for years and years
In North and South and West and East
until I have fulfilled my quest
or failing, drown in saddest tears,
to find this gorgeous, so-rare beast:

But alas! The want-it bug has bit,
The pic has me infatuated!
The thought that never throughout time
I'll get to own or even see it,
Leaves me feeling quite frustrated!
So if you know or ever saw.
where such a grail-thing is located,
Where it may be bought and heard,
Then help us here who stand in awe
of it, yet still frustrated,
Tell us where and at what cost,
however absurd,
It may be had...

Translation: I think the TT in that link is something really special. incredible air-bearing construction apparently on a par with something like the Rockport Sirius III, and a 26 kg platter with a total moment of inertia of 30 TONS/cm2 (according to the translated Japanese version)!
Other than on that site, I don't think I've ever even heard of it, and reading the description does NOT make me optimistic of ever actually finding one. I'm sure I can't afford it if it can be found, but you never know until/unless you ask and try. Anyone here ever seen one of these? Know where one might be located, or ideally be acquired? I feel like someone who just fell in love with Marilyn Monroe or Princess Diana... doomed to an unrequited love and a future of wondering "What would it have been like..."
Okay, so that is still a bit melodramatic, but seriously, has anyone ever seen or heard of one of these "in the flesh"? Know how many were made? Do they really exist? Do they sound as good as one would expect?
