I'm finishing up a restoration on a 170DC with a single massacred faceplate bolt that I had to drill out; there was a sliver of the head left. I've replaced the odd missing one and even gave one or two to other's in need in the past from parts units but am now out.

I admit I haven't done a really in depth search as I've had spares as mentioned so with that, does anybody have a source for the aluminum bolts used to hold the faceplates on the various Marantz models such as the recievers, integrated amps, pre-amps and amps such as the 170DC & 300DC?

A BIG thank-you goes out to bktheking whom generously sent me a needed bolt :thmbsp:

I'd still be interested if anyone knows of a source for these bolts or something similar for the future.
 
AMK does not supply the repro hex nuts, only the repro phillips screws like the 2230 and the 2270
 
Still have some AMK hex bolts. The face of their replicas has a rather rough finish, visibly worse than the original. I think that is the reason AMK don't sells them anymore.
The philips screws i got from AMK seem to have M2,5 thread while the old receivers had M2,6 - very loose fit!

Marantz 15 Hex bolt

Hi,

I have been searching high and low for original hex bolts that will hold a Marantz 15 power amp faceplate. The Marantz 15 bolts seems to be a different (slightly larger) hex bolt than the ones found on Marantz receivers. I know this because I took the hex bolts off of my 2330 face plate to see if it would fit but no deal..it was too small.

I have looked at AMK and tried generic hex bolts from home depot ect but nothing seems to work and I cannot find originals anywhere. Can anyone help me located 4 hex bolts for the Marantz 15 faceplate?

I am looking for 2 Marantz 2500 faceplate bolts. Are those universal? Can I reuse bolts from other Marantz receivers?
