faderlube? D5? For Denon PMA700v

I'm confused. My PMA 700V is cutting out big time, and I'm pretty sure the guilty party is the phono select switch. I've read that faderlube is the thing for switches - is this a switch? I picked up some deoxit faderlube yesterday at GC and got to work on taking the Denon apart and just when I was reading the label it occured to me that I just wasn't sure this was the right stuff. I'm planning on giving all the pots/switches a bit of treatment. Do I necessarily need D5 and faderlube?

I'm probably making this a bigger issue than it needs to be but I don't want to, you know, mess up my amp.

This has probably been covered before, and if so feel free to point me in the right direction. Otherwise, some info as it pertains to my particular unit would be greatly appreciated!

There are several threads on this topic here. Here is my take:

Caig's website says that Faderlube has no cleaning action, so you probably don't want to use that to clean switches. For switches, Deoxit is the best bet, and D5 should be fine. Spray it in and work the switch at least 50 to 60 times (with the unit unplugged of course.) Then another spray should leave enough Deoxit to lubricate too. If you want, then you can use the faderlube.

On pots, things are a bit different. D5 contains a solvent that can destroy the carbon tracks in older carbon-track pots. For those, Caig recommends D100, which contains no solvent, but which has cleaning action. D100 is also a lubricant, so there is really no need for additional lubricant in the pot, though a little faderlube wouldn't hurt either.

Terrific - thanks for the leads and apologies for the duplicate post! I'll just go for the D5, probably.
 
Alright - just in case down the road someone else is looking for information, I got it sorted out. I went w/the D5, pulled the cover off of the unit, and sprayed all of the pots/switches. The problem I was having was with the Phono select switch, which was cutting out badly. After working the D5 into the switch a few times, the problem is solved. Great stuff!
