Erin & I are thinking of buying a second PL4 to run monos with our crown stack and martin logan aerius I. There are very few listing for sale or sold but seem to be in the 4 to 5 hundred range for the amp and closer to $600.00 with a cab. Of course these amps need service and lack of service would bring down the price a bit but not much.

What do you all think a good offer would be. The amp in question has a after market cab built to spec and would match ours.

In this crazy market, prices on just about any quality US made items are up close to 50% in just the last 2 years.
I wouldn't sell my Crown PL4 for anything less than 400$. and when it was checked out by Crown,
around 1990's. 256 WPC @ 8 ohms Both channels .No case. This is No lightweight!
Im not offering or competing with your seller
The only reason I would even consider selling it is because I have a very nice
Crown Macro Reference amp for my Bi-amping Duties.
I'm just giving you my opinion on a fair offer.
My guess is you can have a case made for less than $200
