Fellow locally has a Pioneer SX-950 up for sale/trade. Purported to be fully functional, all lights working, case in good shape

I've offered him a Yamaha CA-810/CT-810 combo. Doesn't look like much is left in the way of lights, , but otherwise both are fully functional, and both pieces are in very good shape.

Seem like a reasonable trade?...:scratch2:

If you want.
Me, I'd probably keep the Yamahas; I almost went after a local CL CT-810 yesterday...

Eh....

The Yamaha's are falling outside the one year rule, and I think I can do better in the long run eventually flipping the SX-950...:scratch2:

I have a complete CA/CT collection (except for a 2010) and I figger I'll just keep the CA-1010 and 2 CT-1010's I have and find new homes for the rest.

I've just been slow to do anything about it because of the state of the economy, and the lack of motivation as far as packing and shipping such gear, and a local trade would seem to be easier...

I almost forgot, in general, I find the Yamaha's a little dry sounding for my taste. Each to his own....

Sounds like your making a wise choice given your circumstances.
He may want a bit more if he is savvy as the SX-950s do bring about 150-200% what the Yamahas do.
