My girls asked what I wanted to do for dinner today, so naturally I said I want to do some grilling'. On the menu Rib Eyes, bacon wrapped filet for my daughter marinated in my dad's recipe "Wingata" seasoning and L&P, bacon wrapped Serrano stuffed shrimp with Korean BBQ sauce, olive oil rubbed & kosher salt encrusted baked potatoes, par-steamed & grilled artichokes with garlic butter and a flight of 3 herb mayonnaises from our garden, garlic bread and corn for my wife. All over mesquite lump charcoal on my new Weber. I don't think I'm going to make it out for gelato tonight :)

Happy father's day to all.

We now know who wears the apron at your house John. :D Drooling here.

Wife took me to 'Sea Legs' over in HB at Atlanta and Beach Blvd. for a champagne brunch today. Mmmmm. Prosciutto bruschetta Eggs Benedict with Hussard sauce and endless champagne w/ OJ. Highly recommend with a Groupon. :thmbsp:

I didn't lift a finger (this time ) , Son Barbecued a marinated T -tip ,daugher in law made some potato salad (yesterday for today ) fixed up ,corn on the cob and baked beans , I had a cold one with dinner then finished up with a decent Cuban after dinner .

Congrats on the new Weber I had couple of the Weber kettles wore them out ,took a good while and a lot of use though ! good BBQ
looks like your Webber is doing a fine job (all 3 of mine did ) you should get quite a few good years out of that.

You can BBQ a real decent turkey in those (excellent turkey actually ) keep it around 13 lb or so so the lid fits on .

They have all skinny at the Weber website[/URL] other good grilling tips and recipes also.
If you follow their advise Q'ing a turkey you won't regret it .

Still have a Weber gasser and another Charcoal barrel type BBQ /Smoker depending how you use it .Using the charcoal BBQ mostly now .

Happy fathers day in return

This is my 3rd Weber Kettle, 2nd Performer. I think the previous one lasted about 15 years.
