Favorite inexpensive protractor ?

GEO-DISC from Mobile Fidelity. Dead-simple to use
I can also recommend the Geo Disc.
I tried several plastic and printed of ones from internet. It was the best.
I also then upgraded to a very expensive turntable. It came set up. I was curious so put on the Geo. It was exact.
Pics are with my older turntable.

Single point protractors do not address both overhang and offset angle. You need 2 points. If the black and gold one shown on this thread had an arrow at the spindle, pointing towards the center of the tonearm, it would be acceptable to me, but a 2 pointer is way better. ConradH's printed out alignment has 2 points plus an arc. Points are on the null points, arc is for overhang check. You do need to know the tonearm pivot to spindle (center to center) distance.

----probably OK for conical stylus.
It's a two pointer:

The Hi Fi News Analog Test Record is a fun toy for testing your system. It comes with a decent glossy cardboard protractor that has worked as well or better than the vinylengine free protractors.

It is a 2 point protractor..... so I guess it’s “way better” ;)

Will this give the correct alignment on my Audio Technica ATP-12T even though the AT specs list different null points?
