Favorite tools on the workbench?

Saw this video on YouTube and it got me thinking. I also really love the old US-made Stanley screwdrivers. But, I would say, the set of Channellock pliers and the Snap-On sockets, ratchets, and end wrenches are my favorite non-powered tools.

I have a Squeezebox on my workbench.

Without a doubt, or moment of consideration...it's gotta be my work bench mounted vice!

It's a heavy duty, swivel-type with burling on the jaws, along with copper inserts to use for delicate holding.

More like a third hand it is, and I'd be lost with out this metal helper when doing stuff.

I like the "Big Mother" Wilton vises. I'm so glad I bought this used one 35 years ago. I first used it to replumb the house with copper pipes.

I'd solder up pre-measured valved sections, then carry them under the house and cut out the old galvanized steel pipes. That way, I could still have water for other parts of the house, as it took me two weeks to complete.

It's hard to find a substitute for a good vise.
