Feast your eyes on this gorgeous console...

Fess up, guys:

If they showed it's backside with glowing tubes, you 'd be drooling.

Doubtful - that hunk of garbage is probably a low-end Astrosonic model.

[elcoholic]

8 tracks and tubes? Really?

[Kismet1968]

At least it is in a safe neighborhood- Sterling Heights, MI.

Sterling Heights is fine. Its safe.

These.... furniture type console really worth much? I saw them frequently during estate sale priced from 100-500. But seems saw very little interest. :scratch2:

... that words just can't begin to describe. And it's yours at an unbelievably low price. Fix the 8 track and get it to tune the FM dial and the value is bound to skyrocket. No affiliation.

You'd be amazed at how many people - particularly younger ones - are clamoring for these console units lately.
Particularly the ones of "Mid-Century-Modern" styles.
It seems like "all the rage" these days.

Worth?
Depends on the unit - Tube sets usually go for more.
The German models are popular too.

Pretty what, Kismet?

Well, on the bright side, at least the seller is presenting an honest description.

bs

Yes but they forgot to add that you'll never trip over it in the dark...

[jed69]

Wow; well, if it plays and makes someone happy, I say more power to 'em! It should come with a pair of cheap sunglasses though...

[bgm1911]

At least the poster was sincere about what he's trying to sell:

"this is a horribly painted console..."

Good for a laugh, just the same.
