Feet (NOS) or replacements for an Akai AP-100C

Doing a restore on a silver Akai AP-100C.

Motor was a joy to service/lube as well as the spindle. New belt and stylus ordered.

The feet. As you can see from the pics they be fubar. Ode to time eh.

The opening the feet fit into is 42.95 mm

The actual diameter (what’s left of it) is 39.93mm (lets call it 40mm)

Height (again what is left of it) is 17.40mm which I am going to assume used to be at least 18mm.

Anyone sitting on NOS in good shape, or know of someplace other than fleabay which may stock something that fits? Or any suggestions on a swap out to something higher grade?

This unit is not a rush so I don’t mind waiting for shipping (waiting on a new belt and stylus as it stands).

They look good but the question is whether they will provide any isolation. To work as a suspension they will need to be quite soft as the turntable is rather light, and for the wide range of uses indicated this may not be the case.
 
They (the feet) are seriously trashed, deformed and done. The TT is from 1978 I believe. It’s capable of doing 4 channel with the right cartridge and amp, hence the restore on it. The issues was, it was well loved for about fifteen years and then stored up until June of 2023 (not stored properly I might add). But the bones of it are solid.

The weight of the AP-100C according to the Akai service manual is 6.1kg / 13.44 pounds - not the heaviest by vintage standards but heavier then a lot of the low to mid priced newer stuff. Have also considered building a wood based bottom instead of the molded plastic to add more weight and dampening.

Have found some 20mm X 40mm feet that I believe will work. Am now looking for a a soft/semi soft elastomer that I can put between the “new feet” and the contact point on the table (washers on either side of said elastomer) to add cushion/shock absorption.

Seen a couple of folks of mounted pins/points (like what are used on speakers) but myself, I want an actual foot.
