Finally some CL truth!

Just for fun I tried reading his sales pitch and by the time I got to the end I had almost blacked out from lack of oxygen. Wonder if he got past 3rd grade, or perhaps the period key on his keyboard got stuck................:D
 
I responded to a CL ad several months ago titled "Big Azz" speakers, The pictures were blurry but I was pretty sure that there was a Yamaha in the pic. The ad was primarily for the speakers with the "Receiver" part of the deal. The guy wanted $25 total which I agreed to. I went and met him in a parking lot 15 minutes away. The speakers turned out to be some rotted out old WV speakers, however my keen eye was on point the Yamaha "receiver" turned out to be a CA-1010 integrated.

I gladly handed him the $25 loaded up the gear and on my way home dropped the "Big Azz" speakers off at GW and took the amp to the shop. It needed a little cleaning etc; and was good to go.

You should have handed him the money, took the amp, left the speakers in the parking lot and drove off.:lmao::lmao::lmao:
 
Too funny. I could have used those last year when I received an invitation by mail that simply said, Big Ass Party....come join the fun. My single friend was throwing it so I knew it had to be big......but I pull up to his house for the party and sure enough....there was about a twenty foot big ass balloon floating in his yard!....:) Cars and people everywhere....it was epic.
 
Every time I see the term "Big Ass", it reminds me of when I was working at the Caterpillar tractor company. It was a warm day and the ceiling fans were in full force. I remember looking up and saying "Those are some big ass fans". Later mounted on a vertical beam was a controller for the fans. They are made by the "BIG ASS FAN COMPANY" Wow, a great company and a great sense of humor!!
