Finicky Realistic STA-240 Switches

I was playing around with the sexy STA-240 and the switches are a little bit finicky. For example: The FM to Phono switch sometimes when I change it I only get audio in one side of the headphones. I twist it a bit and sometimes I am able to get it to work. Any suggestions on how to clean this? :sigh:

If they are enclosed switches, you'll have to find a way in, like a small hole, or the gap where the terminals come out. Spray your cleaner inside and work the controls.

In the General section, there is a Sticky on Deoxit.
In fact, I just gone done on a Deoxit treatment on one of my receivers, waiting a little dry time at the moment.

Read the sticky. DeOxit is available from several of the AK sponsors on the bottom of the page or the bottom of the home page. Just to restate a few things from the sticky, use DeOxit sparingly. Do NOT spray it or anything other than air into or on the variable tuning capacitor (looks like a cheese grater). If you have any slide controls, go very easy on the DeOxit. After it has dried thoroughly use a little Craig Faderlube on them to replace the lubricant that the DeOxit flushed away.

Thanks for the tips!
