I saw one not too long ago here in KY. while i was on my way to work. It wasnt neer as big as that one, but it was the biggest one i have ever seen.
 
Those are so cool. When I lived outside of Seattle I was at my friends house on top of union hill outside of Redmond on the 4th of july 1990 we were drinking our first beer of the evening and sitting in lounge chairs when the sky lit up and a meteor streaked across the sky at about 300-400ft above us headed north the crackle of the 100ft tall trees and the noise was deafening!! it was without a doubt the most amazing display from the heavens that John and I have ever witnessed. Definetly not that Large though!
 
Today they are saying estimates put that flaming bit of rock at around 10 tons with the equivalent impact force of 300 tons of TNT. Cool.
 
Saw a pic of a researcher who'd been combing the area. She was with a portion of the meteorite that had partially melted into the ice on a frozen lake. Looked to be (at least the portion sticking above the ice) about 6X8X8. They figured they would find much more as the examination of the area continued.
