Well I' m well chuffed. Having a party latter as it's our 40th wedding anniversary. And flying out tomorrow for 2 weeks holiday.
And to put the cherry on the cake I bought a Sony TA70 from a well known place online advertised as working with audio issue.
It was dead on arrival no sound no power nothing. Quickly found the fillter cap and its smaller buddy cap plus a poly cap on the amp where already pushing up daisies.
BEen tinkering and waiting for the bits to arrived which they did today and powerd up right away.
As it's a cheep amp do I leave as it is l, or do I change the caps on amp board?
