I’m having trouble with my 400t still. All of my voltages seem to be good with the exception of the pin at 9t (circled in blue) giving me a reading of -1.5v. That should be zero, correct?
The two resistors (circled in red) were completely cooked when I got the radio. Cooked to the point of scorching the board and burning the markings off the resistors. I have replaced them yet they are still getting extremely hot and I can smell burning paint. My dim bulb is not lighting up and as I said all the output voltages on the board are good.
I replaced all the electrolytics with the exception of the big ones. My plus and minus 37v are pretty stable so I have not ordered new ones yet.
Finally I replaced the diode (cr955) just to be safe.
No change. I’m still getting the -1.5v at the blue pin and the resistors are still getting hot.
I’ve double checked my soldering and the board traces. I think they are good. I’m not a professional so there is the possibility I missed one.
Any ideas for troubleshooting and where to look next would be helpful. Thanks
