Fisher 400T Receiver and two XP4A speakers

An elderly neighbor recently got moved to an assisted living home. His daughter has been slowly emptying his house. There's a clean looking Fisher 400T receiver and two XP4A speakers there that look almost new. She want's $40 for all three pieces, and $25 for a Dual 1229 turntable with a Shure cartridge.
I'm not familiar with his era of Fisher and was wondering if its worth shelling out $40 for?

It's certainly an interesting receiver, although I don't know about the sound quality. This was early transistor. The XP4As are probably the most well-known vintage Fisher speakers on AK, for their unusual woofer. Pics are gone from the thread but a small version is still cached by Google (below). Figure the crossovers will need recapping.

I'd say it's definitely worth the $40.
