Fisher 500-B Restoration

Hi All - About to get into a Fisher 500-B restoration. Years back, I had simply gone w. the Metalbone kit and multi-can caps from Hayseed. However, looks like the metalbone site was last updated in 2017, and no response to eMails.

Have any of you ordered via the metalbone site and received your kit? Other options are Jim's kit for sure... any other recommendations?

I got metalbone in 2018 for a 500-C. I believe it was through the Big Auction Site. Ultimately it was through here:

I added to cart, paid and got the kit some time later. But if you're not getting email response and have waited a while (some people are just bad at checking email regularly) with no response, then I guess go with something else.

you dont need a metalbone kit.... heres a thread with a parts list:

The cans from Hayseed are excellent, i used them in 500b and they are high quality.

In case anyone’s following, I did get a response back from Luis/Metalbone. Kit on the way. Ordered via his site. Thanks for the thread above, will check that one out.
