fisher 500c faceplate lettering

I have a very nice 500c and I have noticed when looking at pics of others, there is more lettering above the phones jack. Mine doesnt have that. It just says Phones. Is it possible the missing lettering was rubbed off? Or is there a change somewhere along the production line? Thanks for any information. please excuse if I made any mistakes in posting this, its my first post and not quite sure how this works.

Hmmmmm..... Should say "EARPHONES." Above that should have "WIDE-BAND" and "MULTIPLEX RECEIVER."

I recall there being a discussion of different stenciling on the dial glass, but not the face plate.

These either came with the dial glass lettering or the Faceplate lettering, ....one or the other.

I see it. mine is on the dial glass. are these earlier or later or makes no difference? thanks for the reply. At least I know its not rubbed off.
