Hi all. tl;dr I'm looking for an equivalent to TR01048, which is Q953 in a Fisher 332 or 634 (page 6 of the 332 service manual.)
Full story, I have a 634 with distortion in one channel. While I was scoping out the problem, the ground lead of my scope slipped off and hit ... something ... and let the magic smoke out of the transistor and burned a foil on the speaker protection board (I'm still at a loss at what it hit, but whatever.) The old one is similar (but not identical to a TO-220 case (slightly smaller, thinner leads) but the big difference is that it's EBC and all I can find are BCE. I hate crossing leads, so my question is: what are my options for finding a replacement? I'm thinking one that handles 100V @ 1A should work fine, an but I can't find one with EBC. Suggestions?
