Fisher 80c

I have the opportunity to purchase a Fisher 80c preamp for $80.It has a wood cabinet,the entire unit is in very good shape,just dirty.I have been assured by the store that it does work,even though it is missing the fuse and the cap/knob/thing from the end of the fuse holder. :scratch2: Is this a good price and what are some opinions on this unit?

That's a steal of price. May not find use for a mono pre but can sell to fund other things.

Based on a google search and a search of this site,I was fairly confident it was a good price,but it never hurts to make sure. I'm going to get it then try it out for a bit.I may find a use for it,but if not,like you said,sell to fund other equipment. :thmbsp:
