Fisher cd player

Maron

Always Learning
I picked up a Fisher cd player today , model ad-752 for 7 bucks . It looks pretty much like new . Since it is a Fisher and made in 1989 im guessing it's a turd , but for 7 bucks :scratch2: . I listened to it briefly and it sounds kinda harsh and tinny . I figure i can just use it to try my hand at doing mods on a cd player . Unless someone tells me different .

I still have a mint Marantz cc-65 that i picked up for 15 bucks last month that I am using .

I don't think its anything special. But if it sounds good for some then id put it to use. I have a few CD players for different types of music. Maybe someone else knows a bit more but for 7$ i think its worth it.

I just opened it up . The DAC's are Burr Brown PCM56P and all Rubicon caps . Not to shabby .
