Please dont offend me, i am smart enough to google manual and technical specs. But i have almost zero experience with hifi components.
Therefore i signed here to get some answers if possible.
 
Yours has a phono input so it probably does. Won't hurt anything to try.

Larry's our Fisher guru so don't take offense if he posts something that he thinks you might need to see. I certainly would love to have the manuals when necessary. :thumbsup:
 
IT's a case I was in between honey do's and packing for a trip to FLORIDA @4am Wednesday to see my brother before he dies. My apologies if giving you a link for the manuals that give you all the information you need offended your sensibilities.
 
Ok. I admit it. I have read the manual. And it mentions something about an RIAA and it has phono inputs.
But to be honest my insight in this field is pretty limited. I have tried but there is no sound.

I have used an adapter from din to rca for the GA212 and plugged it into the phono input on the CC7000
From the CC7000 outputs goes to a pair of active dali speakers with minijack input.

So what i wonder is, should there be sound at all or is it some kind of compatibility problem here?

Welcome to AK however try not to give attitude to people who are trying to help you. If you want to have your hand held and have someone give you answers then at least be appreciative if not empower yourself and do your on research.

The Fisher is a Pre-amplfier which means it needs to be connected to an Amplifier, do you have it connected to an amplifier?

Yes, its connected to Dali Zensor 5 speakers. They have integrated 2x50W stereo digital class d amplifier.

Larry is a respected, well-liked, long-time member here and a generous provider of information, guidance, and humor. Forum 'threads' are conversations, with no requirement to stay 'on topic.' Only you can decide if you are comfortable with this reality.

I'm new here myself. Like so many people these days, I have years and years of "forum experiences" and I find this particular forum to be remarkably friendly, helpful, and encouraging. Grace and good humor is in abundance here. of course, your experience may be different.

If you want a simple answer to your problem it's not going to work with active speakers .
Aki's more than just a place to come and join ask a question and then leave and never to be back again although there have been many.

Thanks Guys. He looks worse than he actually is....(ugly kid! LOL). He is terminal with Stage 4 Lung, with metastasis to damned near everything else. He was given 1 year 15 months ago. For some reason, he keeps on plodding along, scaring the Bejezus out of the rest of the family. He's actually walking around better than I do, but he doesn't have arthritis in his hips and knees. 3 of his 4 kids live nearby so he's got family support at hand. but none of them have any kind of medical background, so I get called at all times of the day and night. This time he was dehydrated, stubborn, and wouldn't go to the hospital/cancer center until I pointed out to him that if he crapped out I'd kick his ass. He went.
 
We're never too old to need a good ass kicking. Every family needs a rock, you're it.
