Fisher KX-200 Tube Amp and KM-60 FM Tuner Price

I have someone locally that has a Fisher KX-200 Stereo Tube Amplifier and KM-60 FM Tuner and he wants $1500. I really only want the amp so what should i offer. He has all original manuals, etc. Im a teen and i dont have thousands to spend on him.

Offer $200 if the amp has all the tubes and doesnt have any shorted transformers.
It should be pretty clean for this kind of offer. I'd pay another $100 for a cabinet in nice condition.

Just my humble opinion.

It's nice to dream.
A fully restored (all electrolytics, all couplers, diodes, cleanup, premium tested tubes and a cabinet) would make the KX-200 an $750-900 item depending on a few things.
 
Im going to call him and see what his best offer is. He wont have to ship it or anything, so that will be cheaper in that perspective.
 
Wow, thanks. Yes with it being on the market this long, these people are a little hard headed and obviously think they have a Buggati or something?

Considering eBay sales from the past year or so, I'd say you're around $50-$100 low on each one. I was looking for a KM-60 for a while. The last one on eBay went over $140, that's one of the lower prices I've seen recently.

I purchased a KM-60 tonight that was connected to a KX-200 in very nice condition. The seller wanted to sell the pair and it took me an hour to convince him to sell me just the tuner. I would have purchhsed the integrated too if I had the extra funds in hand.
